Boxiz, Inc. (“Boxiz,” “we,” or “us”) values your privacy.  We have prepared this Privacy Policy to provide you with information about how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you access and use the websites and mobile applications operated by Boxiz (collectively referred to as the “Site”) or when you interact with us in any way relating to our products or services offered through the Site (collectively referred to as the “Services”). This Privacy Policy constitute a legal agreement between Boxiz and “you” (and similar terms such as “your”). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you understand, accept, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use.  If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please immediately discontinue accessing or using the Site and Services.

02. Information Collection

We collect information about you (“personal information”) and your use of our Site and Services, some of which may or may not be personally identifiable.  We collect any information that you provide to us on this Site or through your access to or use of this Site and our Services.  This includes, but is not limited to, your personal information such as:

• Real name, alias, postal or physical mailing address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, e-mail address, account or user name, passwords, Social Security number, driver’s license number, or other similar identifiers;
• Signature, physical characteristics or description, physical likeness or profile photo, telephone number, state identification card number, bank account number, credit or debit card number, or any other financial information;
• Characteristics of protected classifications under state or federal law (such as sex, race, religion, color, national origin, age, handicaps, veteran status);
• Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies;

• Details about the games you play or your favorite teams;
• Inferences drawn from any of your information to create a profile about you reflecting your preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes;

We also collect technical information about your visit to the Site, which may include information about your device and web browser.  When you browse the Site, your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) is recorded so that we may know how you are using the Site.  Your browser may also automatically provide us with information regarding the type of computing device and operating system you are using.  This information is used by Boxiz to monitor and improve the Site.  This information is not linked back to you as an individual user.

We may also collect information about you from third parties. This includes your personal information collected from:

• Our business partners, who may provide us with information about you.
• Our service providers, such as PayPal, who may give us information about you that they collect when performing services on our behalf.
• Data providers, such as consumer reporting agencies or government records.
• Social media sites or other third-party websites, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or YouTube, when you interact with our brand pages on these sites.

The Site uses cookies to record user-specific information about the pages you access or actions you take during your visit on the Site. Please see the section below on Tracking Technologies for more information. To use the Site or Services, such as to purchase virtual currency or virtual items, you may need to provide credit card information, bank account information, and/or other financial account information (“Payment Information”). We do not collect, store, or process Payment Information. Instead, we will redirect you to our third-party payment processing providers, such as Stripe, Paysafe, or Apply Pay. You agree to your personal information being transferred, stored, and processed by our third-party payment processing providers in accordance with their privacy policies.

03. Information Uses

We may use the information that we collect about you to:

• Provide you with the Services that we offer through the Site and any of our other Services;

• Audit related to a current interaction with you and concurrent transactions, including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing compliance with this specification and other standards;
• Detect security incidents; protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; and prosecute those responsible for that activity;
• Identify bugs or repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;
• Engage in short-term, transient uses, provided that the personal information is not disclosed to another third party and is not used to build a profile about you or otherwise alter your experience outside the current interaction, including, but not limited to, the contextual customization of ads shown as part of the same interaction;

• To our service providers, such as our Payment Processors and TurboTax, so that we may successfully carry out payment transactions in order to provide the Services;
• To our business partners or sponsors, who may retain or use your information whether or not you use their services;
• To our investors;
• To third parties in order to protect or enforce our rights or property, to protect your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate, prevent, or take action against fraud or other illegal activities; 
• In response to legal process or as otherwise required by law;
• In the event that Boxiz goes through a business transition or corporate transaction requiring due diligence, such as a merger, capital investment, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets; or
• To conduct any other legitimate business activities not otherwise prohibited by law.

Notwithstanding anything else in the Privacy Policy, we may share aggregate or non-personally identifying information about the users of our Site and our Services with third parties for marketing, advertising, research, or other business purposes.

We do not sell personal information, and we will not sell personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy.

05. Third Party Links

The Site may display links to third-party websites. We do not control the privacy practices of these third parties. You should contact these companies directly concerning their privacy and information sharing practices. Boxiz disclaims liability for the privacy practices of any third-party websites linked through the Site.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any other product or service that you may obtain from third parties as a result of you having used our Site or our Services.

06. Tracking Technologies

In addition to the information you provide, Boxiz may also collect information automatically during your use of our Site or Services via various online tracking technologies, which may include web beacons, cookies, embedded web links, or other information-gathering tools. These tools may collect certain Internet traffic information that your browser automatically sends, such as your browser type and language, access times, and the address of the website from which you arrived. They may also collect information about your click stream behavior (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click, and other actions you take). When you use the Site, we may store certain information on your device, in the form of a small text file or “cookie,” which can help us to tailor the Site and/or our Services to your individual preferences and save you time if you use the Site or our Services again. Information from these tracking technologies allow us to measure activity through the Site and to create ideas for improving the Site and our Services, which may include the time and length of your visit, pages viewed, previously visited websites, and your Internet service.

Third-party tracking technologies are not controlled by us, even if they use our technology to help store or collect data. Statements regarding our practices do not apply to the methods for collecting information used by these third-party advertisers or any uses of the information that such third parties collect. You should review the relevant third party’s terms of use, privacy policy, permissions, notices, and choices regarding any collection, storage, and sharing practices. We make no representations regarding the policies or practices of third-party advertisers or advertising networks or exchanges or related third parties. 

07. Age Restrictions

The Site and our Services are not intended for use by any persons who have not yet reached the age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence.  We do not knowingly solicit information from children, and we do not knowingly market to children.  Please notify us immediately if you believe that we may have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 years, so that we can delete such information.

08. Privacy Policy Changes

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without notice to you.  Unless otherwise stated, any modifications to this Privacy Policy will go into immediate effect after they have been posted to the Site, as indicated by the “Last Updated” date located at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.  Your continued use of the Site or our Services indicates your consent to the Privacy Policy posted at the time of use.  Please return to this page periodically to review this Privacy Policy for any changes.
